Built by a team of young media professionals and students from the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, University of Allahabad, The Wink News aims to bring together the principles of journalism with the speed, accessibility and creativity of digital media.
The platform has its presence across multiple social media platforms, along with its dedicated news website, enabling it to reach audiences through articles, visual stories, videos, social media updates, interviews, explainers and other digital formats.
The Wink News draws inspiration from established news-agency and digital-newsroom models, while developing its own identity and editorial approach. The platform focuses on presenting information in a clear, accessible and engaging manner, with particular attention to local, regional, national, social, cultural, educational and public-interest stories.
